Lust is a low-born thief who sinks us into the infatuation for women and destroys us! Even the great sage Viswamitra was brought down by Menaka; what then is our fate? Again and again, repeatedly, this thief- Lust will try to topple us.
We must become intoxicated only by the beauty of the divine light within our eyes, not by any worldly objects. If you hold firmly onto the pupil of the eye (Kanmani), the light will intensify. With that sword of light, you can cut down and strike away lust!
Lust arises because of women, does it not? But if you view a woman as a Mother, lust will not arise. Look upon all women as your mother! Bow down to the Mother Vaalai (the youthful Goddess).
To conquer lust, the only way to escape is to see the one who rules over Maya (illusion) as a Divine Mother! Kamakshi is she who rules over Kama (desire/lust). Worship Mother Kamakshi! First, you can conquer Kama (the God of Desire); only if you conquer Kama can you conquer Kaala (Time/Death). The only way to achieve this is to surrender to the Divine Mother! Vaalai!
Man is ruined by lust, anger, greed, infatuation, pride, ego, and many other evil qualities. The only way to be liberated from all of these is to attain Divine Grace. Only through Divine Grace can we escape.
