Once Guru gives initiation or deeksha, seeker can do penance on the Thiruvadi. Its not controlling mind, keeping the mind to its orgin.

In this process seeker started realizing that karma-maya-ego started releiving him with grace of Guru. This is done with eyes open. Can done while sitting in a place, while standing and lying bed. Only This davam helps to seperate physical body and sukshama body.

Divine light of Athma multiplies and divine/pure heat is generated to destroy karma.
