“Those who attempt to practice meditation without a Guru—relying only on books, listening to the words of the uninitiated, or acting on their own whims—will only meet with suffering.
Only those who seek a Gnana Sarguru, receive the Thiruvadi Upadesha (initiation at the Divine Feet), and obtain Deeksha (spiritual empowerment) to awaken the consciousness within the pupils of their eyes will truly be saved. It is only through the initiation of a Gnana Satguru that the Divine Flame (the inner light) will dawn within our eyes!”
“The Sun-Flame shall dawn within the right eye, and the Moon-Flame shall dawn within the left eye! As the Solar Jyothi and Lunar Jyothi manifest in both eyes, you must remain wakeful. By constantly maintaining a focused, watchful gaze, these two flames will intensify, merge into one, and flow inward.
They will reach the sacred junction where both eyes meet internally. At that very spot, the Sacred Fire (Agni) shall dawn and expand! We must remain in a state of wakeful, intense observation, feeling the surge of light, and continue our penance until that radiance overflows and fills us completely!”
“‘By gazing intently and repeatedly, the Mantra shall shed its Light,’ so say the Great Siddhars! This is the ‘Tanthiram’ (the divine technique) revealed by the Sages to attain Gnana.
