About Us

Welcome.

We extend our sincere reverence to all people of the world, regardless of caste, creed, race, religion, or language.

This website is dedicated to sharing divine truths(gnana) openly, without secrecy, enabling all to attain Gnanam (divine wisdom) and realize the ultimate truth. It is published with the blessings of revered seers and saints.

What is Gnanam?

Gnanam signifies complete knowledge and realization of our own soul and the Supreme Lord. In essence, it is divine wisdom.

Where is our world heading?

Today, individuals often deceive one another, leading to personal and societal deterioration. To claim that one is corrupted by circumstance or environment is foolish. True nobility lies in resisting emotional enslavement and acting with patience and composure.

decline of human values stems primarily from the absence of spiritual education. The rare opportunity of human birth is compounded by the rarity of being born without physical impairments. Even rarer is the chance to learn and understand Gnanam. The rarest of all is to perform divine offerings and penance, which open the path to the Lord's kingdom. As the esteemed saint Avvaiyar stated, this is divine wisdom.

Having been born as able-bodied humans, it is crucial that we pursue the education of Gnanam(divine). Contemporary education, focused solely on material gain, does not facilitate self-realization. Our purpose in life transcends mere luxury and indulgence.

Who am I? Why was I born? What is the purpose of my life? What constitutes a good life?

Only the education of Gnanam provides answers to these profound questions. Did we come into this world to live or to die?

A "Guru" is one who imparts this knowledge, guiding us towards self-realization. After our parents, it is the Guru who illuminates the path to Gnanam.

"Without a Guru's guidance, one's pursuit of divinity is futile."

"A Guru's vision can dissolve countless(billoins) accumulated karmas."

"The Guru is Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheswara; indeed, the Guru is ParaBrahma."

These are the profound words of saints and seers, emphasizing the importance of a Guru.

It is essential for every human to have a Guru. Only through a Guru does one become a complete human being. As Saint Avvaiyar stated, "Those who do not honor the holy feet of a Guru will find the Lord forever elusive." Saint Vallalar also highlighted the significance of the Guru, lamenting, "Did I hesitate to worship the feet of my Guru?" and "Did I neglect to offer my respects to my Guru?"

The foundation of spiritual growth is virtue and discipline, which must be prioritized above all else. As the saint-poet Thiruvalluvar said, "Virtue and discipline are to be esteemed higher than life itself." We must internalize this truth and live accordingly.

Our diet is also critical. Pure vegetarian food is essential for receiving the blessings and grace of the Supreme Lord. Those who consume meat are, in essence, animals disguised as humans. All saints and seers have urged us to treat every soul as our own and to extend love to all beings. Avoidance of alcohol, drugs, and smoking is paramount. A noble human refrains from the five great sins: lying, alcoholism, stealing, killing, and illicit lust.

Only those who live virtuously are eligible to learn Gnanam and receive the Lord's grace. This knowledge can only be imparted through a Guru.

Gnanam is the Spiritual Education of Immortality.

Great saints and seers, who conquered death and achieved immortality, taught this "Education of Immortality." They are known as Gnanis or Siddhars. Can ordinary humans attain this state? Yes, it is possible. These compassionate Gnanis, in their songs and writings, have shown us the way.

All saints, seers, and Gnanis throughout history have focused on teaching about the Supreme Lord and how to reach Him.

The Supreme Lord is an infinite, divine light, beyond our mind, senses, and body. Self-realization is a prerequisite for realizing the Supreme Lord. Attempts to explain the Lord through science are misguided.

We are our soul, or Jeevatma, a tiny part of the Supreme Being. The soul resides in the center of our head and manifests as the divine light in our eyes. Thus, our eyes are the Lotus Feet of the Lord, through which we can journey inward and realize our true selves.

"One can realize the Master only after realizing oneself." This self-realization is achieved through Penance (Thavam) focused the mind on the eyes. A true Guru imparts divine consciousness to the eyes and teaches this practice.

Our Guru, Thiru.Siva Selvaraj, with the grace of Saint Vallalar, imparts Gnanam and gives Deekshai (divine consciousness in the eyes for doing Thavam). He established and oversaw the "Thanga Jothi Gnana Sabai" in Kanyakumari.

Before attaining Maha Samadhi, Guru Siva Selvaraj Ayya bestowed the Guru Peetam upon nine disciples to continue his mission. These are the Gurus of Thanga Jothi Gnana Sabai, appointed during ThaiPoosam 2014 in the presence of Thanga Jothi Gnana Sabai devotees:
